"Don't Shoot Me Santa!" as written by Brandon Flowers, Dave Brent Keuning, Mark August Stoermer and Ronnie Jr. Vannucci....
Oh, Santa
I've been waiting on you
That's funny kid
Because I've been coming for you

Oh, Santa
I've been killing just for fun
Well, the party is over kid
Because I, because I got a bullet in my gun
A bullet in your what

(Santa's got a bullet in his gun, you know it)
(Santa's got a bullet in his gun)

Don't shoot me Santa Clause
I've been a clean living boy
I promise you, did every little thing you ask me to
I can't believe the things I'm going through

Don't shoot me Santa Clause
No one else around believes me
But the children on the block they tease me
I couldn't let them off that easy

Oh, Santa
It's been a real hard year
There just ain't no getting around this
Life is hard but look at me I turned out alright

Hey, Santa
Why don't we talk about it, work it out
Believe me, this ain't what I wanted
I love all you kids, you know that, hell

I remember when you were just 10 years old
Playing out in the desert
Just waiting for a sip of that
Sweet Mojave rain

In the sweet Mojave rain
The boy was on his own

Don't shoot me Santa Clause
I've been a clean living boy
I promise you, did every little thing you ask me to
I can't believe the things I'm going through

Hey, Santa Clause
No one else around believes me
But the children on the block they tease me
I couldn't let them off that easy

They had it coming, so, why can't you see
I couldn't turn my check no longer
The sun is going down and Christmas is near
Just look the other way and I'll disappear forever

Don't shoot me Santa Clause
No one else around believes me
But the children on the street they tease me
I couldn't let them off that easy

Believe me Santa, Santa

General CommentI love how he acts like he deserves pity for what he's gone through, despite his brutal actions.

Damn, Brandon, you can tell a wonderful story for sure!

General CommentThis song is kinda a weird one...

What I got out of it is that it's a boy who used to be made fun of but was nice but then he shot up his school or something and now (for some reason) Santa's going to shoot him so he's trying to bargain with Santa and explain himself but Santa won't listen.

"Life is hard, but look at me I turned out alright."
This seems kinda ironic because Santa is saying that he turned out all right at the same time that he's about to kill someone.

General CommentI actually think this song has a lot to do with religion and sinning.

General CommentHa funny song and funny video. I couldn't make out a part right after "Bullet in your what?!" So if anyone can find that out for me then I'll revise the lyrics. Also I didn't know how to spell "mohobey" lol

General CommentAfter "Bullet in your what?!" The lyrics are:
Santa's got a bullet in his gun
    You know it
Santa's got a bullet in his gun
"Mohabey" is Mojave - pretty close ;-)

General CommentGreat friggen song. A kid that goes out to "kill for fun", gets justice by Santa. Or at least he begs Santa for fogiveness, when he wants to take out the kids that have given him a hard year.

I think the misconception is that "Santa" was a normal person, who couldn't possibly understand what this kid actually went through.
