If our love was a fairy tale
I would charge in and rescue you
On a yacht, baby, we would sail
To an island where we'd say I do

And if we had babies they would look like you
It'd be so beautiful if that came true
You don't even know how very special you are

You leave me breathless
You're everything good in my life
You leave me breathless
I still can't believe that you're mine

You just walked out of one of my dreams
So beautiful, you're leaving me breathless

And if our love was a story book
We would meet on the very first page
The last chapter would be about
How I'm thankful for the life we've made

And if we had babies they would have your eyes
I would fall deeper watching you give life
You don't even know how very special you are

You leave me breathless
You're everything good in my life
You leave me breathless
I still can't believe that you're mine

You just walked out of one of my dreams
So beautiful, you're leaving me

You must have been sent from heaven to earth to change me
You're like an angel
The thing that I feel is stronger than love believe me
You're something special

I only hope that I'll one day deserve what you've given me
But all I can do is try every day of my life

You leave me breathless
You're everything good in my life
You leave me breathless
I still can't believe that you're mine

You just walked out of one of my dreams
So beautiful, you're leaving me breathless

You leave me breathless
You're everything good in my life
You leave me breathless
I still can't believe that you're mine

You just walked out of one of my dreams
So beautiful, you're leaving me breathless, breathless

What a song...I think this is his best yet. It's pretty obvious the meaning is that he loves his girl so much she takes his breath away.

I absolutely love this song...although I know I'm pretty quite young this will definitely be the song I'll be playing at my wedding. Shayne Ward is just getting better and better. Love it.

Ummmmm, Ok, I like the song, really I do. It's even my song for Myspace. But the lyrics suck!!!! The beat is beautiful and if you try not to hear everyword it's awesome. But reading the lyrics ..... killed it for me... Just my two cents

I agree with Molly, lovely song but full-on sucky lyrics =( Such a shame really... Some bits are quite nice, but the angel and fairytale parts are kinda lame! Still, easy to interpret- he's in love and feeling soppy, haha

I guess shayne wrote this song while he was deeply in love with someone. I do not agree with Mollyj55 and sillysoz about the lyrics because i've been in that boat where you'd think you'd never do somethings when you're in love but find yourself doing it and much worse. If he compares his love to a fairytale .....well thats how he feels just let him be. its a nice song no doubt about it

It was a great song for me, my pyaar told me he remember me whenever he heard This song, but I still thinking about this part" You're something special I only hope that I'll one day deserve what you've given me But all I can do is trying Every day of my life” He is not so sure coz almost whole of his life committed to his work. Maybe that is why he can speak about to this

My first love told me about this song. He told me to listen to it and then phone him. He then proceeded to sing it down the phone to me and told me he loved me. We were in a long distance relationship; I was 13 and he was 15 when we first started.

After a year, things got complicated and we finished and lost touch. 2 and a half years went by and I found him again on a social network site. We instantly started talking how we used to and it felt like we had never stopped speaking.

We still love each other dearly and are best friends despite the distance. I love you Lee, I always have and always will.

The tune is on point and so are the lyrics. Love seems like a fairytale until you find the right persin and when you do find them you feel like you're out of breath. It is really breath taking

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
