It’s been a long two years
It’s time to smile
We’ve made it this far
Just like you said
Just like you said we would

There are no more tears
We’ve used them all
So now we’ll rely on our laughter
And the faith that pain brings joy

I hope that you can see
The strength that pulled us through
Is not passed on to me
I need to worry like you always do
Like you always do

This far from home
It doesn’t feel as far when I know you’re doing well
The distance is what you make it
The distance is what you make it

I hope that you can see
The strength that pulled us through
Is not passed on to me
I worry like you always do

I hope that you can see
The strength that pulled us through
Is not passed on to me
I need to worry like you always do
Like you always do
Like you always do

I hope that you can see
The strength that pulled us through
Is not passed on to me
I worry like you always do

I hope that you can see
The strength that pulled us through
Is not passed on to me
I worry like you always do

I hope that you can see
The strength that pulled us through
Is not passed on to me
I need to worry like you always do
Like you always do

General CommentAmazing song. It seems to be about a strong relationship, but the writer seems... Afraid? Afraid of losing them, or growing distant? My opinion, great song, I'm not so into the band, but I really like the song. :]

General Commentthis is my favorite copeland song
to me i relate it to my best friend and i - he's the one who gave this to me : )

its been a long time (two years) of not so greatness - but we're still here. we're still friends. we should smile because of this. because we were able to make it through together - no matter how hard it was. i doubted we could do it, but your hope/faith and love in this friendship/relationship is what held us together. you said we would make it. and we did. we need to get past those years of pain/crying. and instead look at those hard times as something that taught us. maybe they were some kind of lesson. and through them - we can find happiness.
what pulled us through was you. you had that strengh. i dont.
i wish i had it though. i wish i were strong like you; able to hold us together like you do.

no matter how far away we are from eachother/home - it doenst feel so bad when i know youre okay. we can still stay close.
we can still be best friends
    we can still love eachother
