I act so dumb when we're alone
My heart beats faster than those techno beats you played me on the phone
You took the tiger by the tail
They dropped your worst mistakes from message boards to minor chords

Oh oh oh oh oh
We're saving every little thing

You saddled up and sang along
Despite my best attempts, I couldn't make you love me with a song
The former kings of Norway's rule
Changed directions like commuter trains and coastal rains

And oh oh oh oh oh
We're saving every little thing

You made the leap in half the time
I read your diary, but that's okay 'cause I know you read mine
Who's gonna document these days?
Some things were overlooked to pin the note you finally wrote

And oh oh oh oh oh
We're saving every little thing

General CommentWhy doesn't this song get more love? It's my favorite by Tullycraft.

In general, Tullycraft needs more love.

I'm pretty sure it's just about being so smitten with someone you want to save everything you can, write down every word they say for fear of forgetting it.

I love the, "Despite my best attempts, I couldn't make you love me with a song." It's just perfect.
