Soak it in dirt and wash it off
You wear my mask, does that make you GOD?

DEAD BORN
I will feel pity for you
666
All you have is just a faade
Everyone laughs at you behind your back
Who looks at you?
666

You turn your head and call this freedom?
You won't become SID tomorrow

He doesn't have "it" on his chest
Temptation just ate him up, and you call this a dead body?
Look at it closely, they're all just scarred up mannequins

The lullaby that's suppose to make you sleep
I can't hear it, Can't hear it, Can't hear it

You crawling on your elbows looked so artistic
Those are the kiku flowers placed for the accident, that we're suppose to forget in a timely manner
Can't sleep, Can't sleep
The deep sin lies with MONA LISA

DEAD BORN
I will feel pity for you
666
All you have is just a faade
Everyone laughs at you behind your back
Who looks at you?
666

General CommentAHH! this is the kind of wonderful song that leaves a bitter laugh in your mouth. when i first read the lyrics i couldn't stop laughing i'm like "YES! THE FUCKING FOOLS!"
Soak it in dirt and wash it off
You wear my mask, does that make you GOD?
such good lines. he's saying wither around in my filth the pain and blood and just rinse it all away the people who awe him and basically WORSHIP him he's taking a fucking shot at himself! saying he wears a mask (like a stage persona) and if you put it on are you any different? No he's just a person too.
"you won't become SID tomorrow" Sid mother fucking vicious and he's stage antics (how often they are compared to Kyo's but AREN'T!!!) Yeah he cut his chest with glass and burn himself with cigarettes. Kyo fish-hooks his mouth and cuts open his chest. you won't become that overnight. it's not something easily mimicked. and if it is you look like a fucking idoit like SID and not someone who knows the meaning like Kyo. God sometimes Kyo is just too brillant.

General Commentone of my favorite songs by them at the moment
the chorus is very clever, referring to himself and how others try to copy him.
im not sure what 'SID' means though x]

General CommentKyo hates Sid Vicious,Thats the whole point of the part when he says "You turn your head and call this freedom?
You won't become SID tomorrow "
If you see the song Hydra, hes singing about how he wants to be an Anarchist like Sid Vicious from The sex pistols, they made a song called Anarchy in the UK,which is on GH3.

General CommentWhat is DEAD BORN supposed to represent?
And is this song supposed to tie up with "Hydra"?
    I'm guessing so...

General CommentYeah, Kyo hates Sid Vicious so much, that's why 'Hydra' is all about wanting to be an anarchist just like Sid. Oh, and don't forget about the fact that he said 'Sid and Nancy' in Jessica. Oh yes, please don't forget about the fact that he wears a lock on his neck just like Sid Vicious...

Yup, he hates him so much -eyeroll-

My InterpretationAlright, I'm going to try and interpret this song by breaking it down piece by piece... sorry it got super long.

I'm interpreting this song as a warning against falling into your own persona and losing yourself behind it.

Here's a couple things that I think match up with that idea. It's strange that I was looking into these two things, and here they are in this song's lyrics:
-- The kiku flower is also known as the Chrysanthemum, which is a symbol for spirituality and perfection/order. It can also represent the chakra of the heart; supposedly if you study/meditate on the beauty of a chrysanthemum, it allows you to 'blossom' the beauty within your own heart, opening your heart chakra.
-- If this song is related to 'HYDRA' from the MACABRE album, then the "SID" in this song is referring to Sid Vicious (of the Sex Pistols). Sid ended up dying from a fatal overdose of heroin after a long history of abuse. The drugs caused Sid to lose his sense of self and he fell prey to trying to live up to the last part of his stage name Vicious ("All you have is just a facade" and "Temptation just ate him up"). In the end, Sid became a bit of a sad warning against falling too far into the 'rockstar' lifestyle.
I'll go out on a limb and say Kyo isn't totally against Sid Vicious, just some of the choices he made in his (short) life, especially the part of falling prey to his own facade and losing everything outside of it that made him 'Sid Vicious.'

-- The part about "it" not being on [Sid's] chest and "scarred up mannequins" could be referencing the idea that the scars Kyo has on his chest from self-injury he views as simply a way to get his idea across, and that the damage he inflicts to his body is equal to that of a mannequin. Maybe he doesn't think Sid was holding to his own ideas that strongly, so that's why he wouldn't have "it" on his chest.
-- I'm just taking a wild guess with the "MONA LISA" part that because of the painting's famous inscrutable expression and how the eyes supposedly are staring at you no matter where you stand in the room, that part of the song could be talking about how people will watch you passively with an expression that is cold and difficult to understand, and you will never really be able to escape them.
-- I'll guess the "You turn your head and call this freedom?" and "You crawling on your elbows looked so artistic" could be alluding to blind worship of this persona/facade.
-- "The lullaby [ ... ] I can't hear it [ ... ]" and "Can't sleep" parts I think tie into the blind worship part because Kyo feels he can't just give in to what others expect of him and what he expects of himself and his persona.

I'm afraid I have no idea what the 666 and "DEAD BORN" parts of the song mean. Temptation and being unwilling to fight for your 'self' during your lifetime?

TL;DR: In the end, if you try too hard to live up to the expectations of others (Mona Lisa) or the persona you think you "should" be (Sid Vicious) or begin blindly following the persona of another person, you'll wind up losing your sense of self, looking like a fool, and "Everyone laughs at you behind your back."
