Let's make out
Let's make out
Let's make out (Let me go)
Let's make out (Let me go)

too many legs under the table.
too many reasons for trouble.
have I got a girlfriend and
does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does

if the feeling's right you can see it..
it's the same, don't hurt
if you can't stop yourself when you feel it....
ooooooh.

I can't control myself
when I see you there's no one else
when I get down all by myself
you're the one that I think about

I can't control myself
when I see you there's no one else
when I get down all by myself
you're the one that I think about

Let's make out
Let's make out
Let's make out (Let me go)
Let's make out (Let me go)

too many legs under the table.
too many reasons for trouble.
have I got a girlfriend and
does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does

if you can't feel your hands on the ceiling
from the clapping on the floor.
you can't stop yourself when you feel it..
oooooooh

I can't control myself
when I see you there's no one else
when I get down all by myself
you're the one that I think about

I can't control myself
when I see you there's no one else
when I get down all by myself
you're the one that I think about

Let's make out
Let's make out
Let's make out (Let me go)
Let's make out (Let me go)

I'm in love with you, my baby girl, I'm in love with you-ooo.
I'm in love with you, my baby girl, I'm in love with you-oo-ooo.
I'm in love with you, my baby girl, I'm in love with you-ooo.
I'm in love with you, my baby girl, I'm in love with you-ooo.

too many legs under the table.
too many reasons for trouble.
have I got a girlfriend and
does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does

too many legs under the table.
too many reasons for trouble.
have I got a girlfriend and
does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does

too many legs under the table.
too many reasons for trouble.
do I have a girlfriend and
does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does ha ha!

too many legs under the table.
too many reasons for trouble.
do I have a girlfriend and
does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does

?????aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

- ok that was grrrreat but uh, do it again?
- hahaha no.

General CommentI'm not the only one who notices the "let's make out" kind of turns to "let me go", right? Clever little trick, there.
Yeah, this song is just amazing. He has a girlfriend but there are "too many reasons for trouble"...or, opportunites to cheat.

General CommentI originally got this song because Sebastien Grainger (ex-drummer of Death from Above 1979) does the vocals. Then I got into DIOYY from there. Great song, great band.

General Commentit alternates from "let's make out" to "let me go", saying that he wants to make out with his girl but at the same time he knows its not a good idea and that she'll hurt him even though he loves her.
so he's basically begging his girlfriend to stop entrancing him. his mind is in a ruckus cause he doesnt know which to choose: to leave her? or just make out?

"you can't feel your hands on the ceiling
from the clapping on the floor."
-- this part is saying that he's loving her, but what he's getting back is the complete opposite of what he wants.

too many legs under the table.
    too many reasons for trouble.
have I got a girlfriend and
    does she get real mean?
yes she does, yes she does
--that part is obvious; the girl has too many opportunities to cheat, and is she mean? yes she is cause she's always hurting him

General CommentDioyy is probably one of the coolest bands of all time, and this song is seriously the shit. Plus Sebastien Grainger sings in this song, and i love dfa1979, so all around, this song is just amazing.
PLUSSSS, when i saw dioyy in concert Morgan Quaintance sang this song to ME, so everytime i hear this song, it brings back great memories. :D

    Anyways, this band rocks.
Buy their cd, you won't regret it.
