ooh, don't pull its legs! they're pulled
don't squeeze it too hard up
don't mash it up

ooh, don't pull its legs! they're pulled
don't squeeze it too hard up
don't crush it up

if you snap it like a twig
glue it back with little sticks
put it back into the grass again

if you break a kitten's neck
you must shake its body and check
if it's still alive; be gone to sleep

if you snap it like a twig
glue it back with little sticks
put it back into the grass again

General Commenti love the video verrry muuch..
and i think it's about global warming, about the devastation of this earth by human.

in the video, the children cry blood, forest got burnt, someone break a cat neck -- symbol of animal killing and hunting?

and then there are children choir, children symbolize the youth generation, and singing represent healing. these youth then begin to fix the world-- from their mouth poring down leaves, from their palm comes out butterflies.

    nice video..

General CommentCould this maybe be a nostalgic picture from their childhood?
"don't squeeze it too hard up
    don't crush it up"
Kids like mashing things, Maybe a mother tries to tell their child to be carefull.

General CommentI love how this song/band makes you question what is music. It's pure brilliance that comes out but it's like animal collectives album Strawberry jam where logically it's just a mess but it comes together so freaking well! am I right or am I right? I could listen to this song forever. I love it. you gottta tell more people about this band!

General Comment It doesn't matter how much you warn your kids about treating animals with general tips (don't squeeze, don't crush), they will find a twisted way to hurt them (they made frogs smoke till they explode), pushed by his curiosity and imagination. Maybe like humanity do, in an ecological point of view.

Actually, the song's title is more literal than some people could think. Actually, if you put a cigarrete into a frog (or toad) mouth it will smoke, sucking, searching for air... till it explode. My father told me they used to do stuff like that (including making toads smoke) to small animals when he and his brothers were kids, in his village.

Sorry for my poor english level. :S
