"Bitter End" as written by James Buchanan Galley, Samuel Forrest, David Samuel Jones and Martin Cohen....
Baby, come down
I'll be friend
Show you around
'Til the bitter end

You would wake up in the early morning sun
Pray to God that you are not the only one
Who has to fight it when the world knocks on your door
Who hasn't worked out what it is you're fighting for

So, baby, come down
I'll be friend
Show you around
'Til the bitter end

Give me something I can really understand
Paint a picture where the world lies in my hand
Make it simple, make it starting from today
You know I wouldn't want it any other way

So, baby, come down
I'll be friend
Show you around
'Til the bitter end

I tried to find someone who cares
It never gets you anywhere

Baby, come down
I'll be friend
Show you around
'Til the bitter end

Baby, come down
I'll be friend
Show you around
'Til the bitter end

General CommentI can't believe this has no comments. This is, dare I say, a very sweet song. The chorus relates exactly to me and my best (female) friend, and the first verse describes her perfectly. I hope we can be friends to the bitter end. I think it may have been written with a similar theme in mind, about two best friends who are utterly hopeless.

"I tried to find someone who cares,
    it never gets you anywhere."

Sam speaks the absolute truth here. Sometimes it feels like no matter how much you look for someone who really cares about you but it feels like no one gives a toss.

So maybe not a lot like most of Everything Is, but definately a beautiful song and one that means a lot to me.

General CommentLewis88 has a very positive/good outlook on this song. However, I interpret this a little differently.
I find it to be about a couple, eh?
    everything's great and everything.
and he says that he will keep it that way until " the bitter end"
what I see from that is that he is aware that there will be an end to this.
I don't think he means death by this 'bitter end' either.
"I tried to find someone who cares,
    it never gets you anywhere."
I think he's getting somewhere, therefore, the girl doesnt care.

I could be wrong, but every interpretation is different :D

and Lewis88, indeed, it is a beautiful song.
and I am also surprised as to why there arent more comments!
