"Glover" as written by and Gordon Anderson....
If you can't get that girl off your mind
It's gonna drive you crazy, yeah

You're gonna go blind, you're gonna change your mind
You'll find another girl (?)

Walking around, you feel so down
But pick yourself up friend it's OK

They come into your life and then they walk away
They're gonna leave you (?) some day

They come into your life and then they walk away
They're gonna leave you (?) some day

Old Mr. Glover sits there with his wife
He's getting kinda old and he's wasting his life

He's watching television through his bottleneck glasses
And his little whiskey's by the chair side

She doesn't love him anymore
Her plastic eyes can't see to the floor

Pick yourself up Mr. Lonely
That girl's gonna get so old and grey

One day, one day
One day, hey hey!

(?) to me
Don't rely on them for love
Oh, no, don't rely on them for love

Forget that girl
She's only gonna bring you down

Forget that girl
She's only gonna bring you down

"What you gonna do, it's game over man"

Come on!

Can only save you with some day

Did she really love you all that much, anyway?
I don't think so

Did she really love you all that much, anyway?
I don't think so

Did she really love you all that much, anyway?
I don't think so

Did she really love you all that much, anyway?
I don't think so

Love is a (?)
Love is a (?)
Love is a (?)
Love is a (?)

"No one to hear it"
"I'm not very (?)"
"3 o'clock"
"Perfect"
"Absolutely"
"Charming"
"Famous for its..."

(?)
Rock around the (?)
(?)

General CommentNo comments yet? I think this is the standout track on the album. It really defines the heartache that I think informs the whole lp. Ok, maybe it goes a bit mental at the end with the clocks and horses and whatnot but the first half if s great tune and the lyrics are amazing.
