Tore down defense
Make sure I wasn't really there
What are the reasons
To pursue this affair?

I have exhausted my options
And they all are staying back at me
Each one with its offering
What infinite possibilities
As taken
Not for replacement or substitution
This heart

Gave into it
The surest way I'm gonna be upset
What the reasons
To pursue this affair?

I have exhausted my options
And they all are staying back at me
Each one with its offering
What infinite possibilities
As taken
Not for replacement or substitution
This heart
This heart

I have exhausted my options
And they all are staying back at me
Each one with its offering
What infinite possibilities
As taken
Not for replacement or substitution
This heart
This heart

General CommentIt calls to mind a head-in-arms situation. An inner conflict that causes a need to put your palms on your sockets. Tense, but with a layed back tune. Lovely song.
