"Piece Of Me" as written by Klas Frans Ahlund, Christian Karlsson and Pontus Johan Winnberg....
I'm Miss American Dream since I was seventeen
Don't matter if I step on the scene
Or sneak away to the Philippines
They still gon' put pictures of my derriere in the magazine
You want a piece of me?
You want a piece of me

I'm Miss bad media karma
Another day another drama
Guess I can't see no harm
In working and being a mama
And with a kid on my arm
I'm still an exception
And you want a piece of me

I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's shameless!
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Extra! Extra! This just in
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
(You want a piece of me)

I'm Mrs. 'You want a piece of me?'
Tryin' and pissin' me off
Well get in line with the paparazzi
Who's flippin' me off
Hopin' I'll resort to startin' havoc
And end up settlin' in court
Now are you sure you want a piece of me?
I'm Mrs. 'Most likely to get on TV for strippin' on the streets'
When getting the groceries, no, for real
Are you kidding me?
No wonder there's panic in the industry
I mean please

I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's Shameless
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Exta! Extra! this just in
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Miss American Dream since I was 17
Don't matter if I step on the scene
Or sneak away to the Philippines
They still gon' put pictures of my derriere in the magazine
You want a piece of me?
You want a piece of me
You want a piece of me?
I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's shameless!
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Extra! Extra! this just in
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's shameless!
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. Extra! Extra! this just in
(You want a piece of me)
I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
(You want a piece of me)
Oh yeah
You want a piece of me

    General CommentWooh First to comment.

This is my most favorite song on Blackout. So catchy and easy to dance to. Its like the best song on there.

The song pretty much speaks for itself. The meaning is pretty simple. Its about how shes always watched and in the news and people can't get enough of her.

    General CommentI love this song!

The only thing I would change is the whole "aaaaah" "oooooh yeah" orgasmic sounds in between verses.

General CommentWhy are you whinging about your brain? Britney Spears crashed because she's a celebrity, not because of some disorder.

But as for you, BPD isn't terminal, at least it shouldn't be. You shouldn't even be taking pills, it's completely curable without medication (yeah, seriously). The main reason people can't beat BPD is that they can't communicate well enough or they cling to the illusion that it has taken over their life. Make sure you're telling your psych everything and if you're still not cured, get a new one. Stop taking those pills and next time you're down, read a book or listen to some ska (Britney Spears' music won't help you). Seriously, once you pull yourself out of the catch 22, it's so easy to realise that you're lying to yourself, so, easy.

If people are making fun of you, it's because they know what I know and are amused that you haven't realised it for yourself yet. Good luck, homie.

My InterpretationI love how it's got that double meaning with the whole, "You want a piece of me?" bit. Like, she's trying to be badass and I think she could take on a lot of the haters, like, kick their ass and shit, but I also think it's about how everyone wants a piece of her--like, her body, her mind, her attention, her hair, etc. Like, everyone wants a piece of her fame and they want to be her, y'know? Everyone wants to tear her down because she's so famous and they're all jealous and they just want a piece of her somehow and to glean a little bit of the fame and fortune.

Personally, I love her to death--always have. She's not even a guilty pleasure of mine because I have no problem admitting to the entire world I love her as a person, I love her music, I love how she balances work and being a mom, and I also just love her in general. I think she's a good person and a good entertainer. I also think that she is a good singer--le gasp! I just love her. :)
