"Nothing In Return (Walk Away)" as written by and Philip Hansen/brown Anselmo....
Fast, a cleansed soul rebirthing
See to be and understand your flip side

You want nothing in return
You want nothing in return
You want nothing in return
You want nothing in return

All is cry until the laughing
There is more between the sky and earth
That is beyond our philosophy unknown

You want nothing in return
You want nothing in return
You want nothing in return
You want nothing in return

The closest that need you, the closest surrounding you
We'll walk away, we'll walk away
We'll walk away, we'll walk away

We'll walk away, we'll walk away
We'll walk away

The closest that need you, the closest surrounding you
The closest that need you, the closest surrounding you
We'll walk away, we'll walk away
We'll walk away, we'll walk away

We'll walk away, we'll walk away
We'll walk away, we'll walk away
We'll walk away, we'll walk away
We'll walk away, we'll walk away

And when we walk away there'll be no coming home
And when we walk away there'll be no coming home
And when we walk away there'll be no coming home
And when we walk away there'll be no coming home

And when we walk away there'll be no coming home
And when we walk away there'll be no coming home
And when we walk away there'll be no coming home
And when we walk away there'll be no coming home

General CommentI'm pretty sure it's about Dimebag.

    Beautiful song, regardless

My Interpretationvinnie and dime. "there is more between the sky and earth that is beyond our philosophy" for dime. then the rest of the song makes me think of phil sending a message to vinnie.

My InterpretationActually, while the Dime/Vinnie connection makes sense, I always thought this song was about Hurricane Katrina and N'Orleans being destroyed.

Like an ode to a list home city.

General CommentThe "There is more between the sky and earth that is beyond our philosophy" line is a paraphrased quote from "Hamlet".
