"S.O.S. (Anything But Love) (Feat. Cristina Scabbia)" as written by Johnny Lee Andrews and Eicca Toppinen....
Bound to your side and trapped in silence
Just a possession
Is the sex or only violence
That feeds your obsession

You send me to a broken state
Where I can take the pain
Just long enough
That I am numb
That I just disappear

[Chorus]
So go on and fight me
Go on and scare me to death
Tell me I asked for it
Tell me I'll never forget
You could give me anything but love
Anything but love

Does it feel good tonight
Hurt me with nothing
Some sort of sick satisfaction
You Get from mind fucking

Oh stripped down to my naked core
The darkest corners of my mind are yours
That's where you live
That's where you breathe

[Chorus]

Without any faith
Without any light
Can dare me to live
Can dare me to lie
Inside I am dead

[Chorus]

Anything but love
Anything but love

My InterpretationFor me this about a woman that is abused by her husband...Mentally,physically and sexually! She is desperate and near to suicide (without any faith, without any light...Can dare me to live, can dare me to lie...Inside I am dead)...
She is certainly not an ungrateful bitch as I read is some comments and OF COURSE doesn't deserve abusion!
It says "Go on" cause she knows she can'r escape she is trapped in the situation and just accepts it! The man is probably rich and she is poor with nowhere to go, the may have children together... It says "anything but love" cause she knows he is unable to love her and can only offer her money and suffering! I think this is an awsome sing that pperfectly describes the situation of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE which a nightmare to many women....I think that more songs like that have to be written to raise awareness since this is a significant problem of our days that goes against human right!!! Abused woman should know that there are people who can help them out there and that having children with someone doesn't mean you shouldn't leave him if he is violent! There is hope, there is compassion!

General CommentGood song, not much of a Apocalyptica fan, But I do love Lacuna Coil. And this song is beautiful. To me it seems like she is a women who is batterd in her relationship. Perhaps a rich man (IE: You could give me anything but love) She stays knowing that she perhaps has no place to go, But again, just my interp of it.

General CommentI agree a little with Lostsnake1134, I do believe its a battered relationship with a wealthy person. He could give her anything except the love she really lingers for. I think he only uses her for show as a trophy wife and demeans her in any way, not just physically but mentally ( Some sort of sick satisfaction you
    Get from mind fucking)

General CommentI always saw some sort of abuse in this song, and what lostsnake & The Red Pyramid said makes a lot of sense.
There's also the possibility, with the line "Tell me I'd never forget", maybe if she left him he'd soil her reputation, or give her/her family a hard time.

General Commentok, I have a confession to make. I'm not sure if that fourth line is "is it sex" or "is this sex" or something else. If anyone has the correct lyrics, feel free to post this and I'll edit the lyrics. please, though, don't flame me.

p.s. the official video is out. :) on youtube anyway.

General CommentAll online lyric sites are fan input. The official lyrics from Lacuna Coil's and Apocalyptica's sites say that it's "So, go on, infect me."

Also, it's "Is this sex" in the part you were asking about.
