"Vegas" as written by Jack Bassam Barakat, Robert Ryan Dawson, Alexander William Gaskarth and Zachary Steven Merrick....
Tonight we lie awake
Remember how the coffee made us shake
On those long drives?
One more long night

Another seven days
Heartbeat racing the interstate, my home tonight
For one more long night
I'm sure as hell the happiest I've ever been

We can't hide, we let go
We've got more than we know
My friends are a different breed
My friends are

There's a ghost in this room
I think I'll name it after all of you
And watch it hang over my bed like decorations
Celebrated memories that came and went
In light of all that time we spent
Listening to everything our parents told us not to take in

Now make a change, I'm counting down
The mile marks to every town
And falling more in love
With the distance put between us

We can't hide, we let go
We've got more than we know
My friends are a different breed
My friends are everything

Make this last, take it slow
We've got it all figured out for now
So, let us live our lives without a doubt

Tonight we lie awake
Remember how the coffee made us shake
On those long drives?
One more long night

Another seven days
Heartbeat racing the interstate, my home tonight
For one more long night

From coast to coast I'll make the most
Of every second I've been giving with this crowd
Without a doubt, you're all I dream about

At night we lie awake
With stories taking us back
To the nights we felt alive
The nights we felt alive

I would've married you in Vegas
Had you given me the chance to say, "I do"?
Couldn't make it anymore obvious, could you?
Be anymore obvious

I would've married you in Vegas
Had you given me the chance to say, "I do"?
Couldn't make it anymore obvious, could you?
Be anymore obvious, could you?

General Commenti think this is all about the band/touring scene and how much they love it and are so glad they can do it and like all the memories and such. although im not sure about the "i would've married you in vegas.." part.

Actually, the line IS "we get high, we let go"...
If you owned So Wrong, It's Right you would know that. And also, just because it says 'we get high' it doesn't mean it has to do with drugs...although it could.

General CommentThis is my favorite song from So Wrong, It's Right.
I was sad they didn't play it last time I saw them.

Alex is so cute, I'm so jealous of Lisa haha.

My Interpretationi think this song means that his girlfriend (which he does have one) lives somewhere else and he misses her when atl is on tour and they had taken a trip to vegas, and he was trying to propse to her, but she had to leave and he didnt have enough time. and in the beginning its about touring and remembering her on tour but doesn't really relate to his friends as in the line "my friends are a different breed". but in the line "my friends means everything", that is because he lives with his friends.
the line "Another seven days heartbeat racing the interstate, my home tonight for one more long night" means that in seven days he is going to get to see her again, and he feels like he is trying to beat the road home to her. also he feels like seven days feels like one long night.

General CommentMaybe the part where they say
"I would've married you in Vegas"
"Had you given me the chance to say "I do"

hints that he brought his girlfriend along with him on the tour and they stopped by Vegas but she didn't give him the chance?

    something like that. :)
but I find it a cute song.
