"Holly (Would You Turn Me On?)" as written by Alexander William Gaskarth, Samuel Hollander and David Arthur Katz....
When you gonna give it up?
You're giving me such a rush
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?

You are the taste of something sweet
And I'm tangled in the sheets
You left your mark, dragged down my back
So chain me up, I'm in too deep
Too much of you is never enough

When you gonna give it up?
You're giving me such a rush
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?
Just another pretty face,
But I want one more taste
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?

Just one fix
To keep me in the mix
And I'm still strung out on you
Drove all night
I'm the deer in your headlights
What's left of me you'll swallow soon
Too much of you is never enough

So when you gonna give it up?
You're giving me such a rush
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?
Just another pretty face,
But I want one more taste
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?

You took what you wanted
You got it, you know it
I'm haunted by everything that you gave me
You made me, you broke me, you saved me
I'm crazy, but I'm not done

So when you gonna give it up?
You're giving me such a rush
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?
(Holly, would you turn me on?)
Just another pretty face,
But I want one more taste
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?

When you gonna give it up?
You're giving me such a rush
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?
Just another pretty face,
But I want one more taste
Come on Holly, would you turn me on?

General Commentdear maria is about a stripper, not this one.
alex said its a play on words, its deff. supposed to be hollywood.

whats left of me you'll swallow soon is about being so consumed with something. like holly a girl or hollywood.
either way it works, and the first time you hear it most people won't catch its not about a girl, thats why its such a good play on words.

yeah, or it can be that if it's about hollywood,
like everyone know "hollywood eats your soul" so to say,
ant it's eating the last parts of him or something

and "just another pretty face, but I want one more taste" < like there's nothing underneath the surface but you still want more (from hollywood :))

General Commenti really don't think its about a stripper.
Dear Maria (count me in) is about a stripper.
holly, would you turn me on is about hollywood.
    i got confused.
So Wrong Its Right is more a story then reality.
so therefore, holly would is ment to be Hollywood.

General Comment"Holly, would" is pretty smart.
I'd kill to see them live on Warped one more time :]

& it's not about sex, although it implies it in the lyrics,
especially 'And I'm tangled in the sheets, You left your mark'
But nope. It's not about it as far as I'm concerned.

General Commentso.. "Holly, would you turn me on?" sounds a lot like "Hollywood, you turn me on".

I can't tell if it's intentional or not, but it just might work in some weird metaphorical way.

    General Commentoh, and chickybaby321:
    they're not really repeating themselves.
Alex usually writes the lyrics, but Jack supposedly wrote this one.
Besides-- "deer in the headlights" is a common phrase.
