"In Your Arms" as written by Jeffrey Mark Blue and Kurtis John Henneberry....
You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life
You are the most beautiful thing these eyes have seen

I met you at St. John's Cathedral down at Amsterdam
Made a trade with the devil and he gave me your hand
We both know this castle's made of sand
Close your eyes and fall asleep again

I will fall asleep here in your arms
Every breath that you take breaks my heart

I built us this boat so we both could sail far, far away
It sprung a leak inside, the captain forgot to say
That love is made of treading water, hearts of clay
I had no idea, I had no idea that we would die today

You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my entire life
You are the most beautiful thing these eyes have seen

I will fall asleep here in your arms
Every breath that you take breaks my heart
I will fall asleep here in your arms
Every breath that you take breaks my heart

And what do you think and what do you do
After the storm that we've been through?
I will come to your rescue, I will save this life tonight
And this could be everything that I ever could've owed you
I hear goodbye

I met you at St. John's Cathedral down at Amsterdam
Made a trade with the devil and he gave me your hand

I will fall asleep here in your arms
Every breath that you take breaks my heart

And what do you think, what do you do
After the storm that we've been through?
I will come to your rescue, I will save this life tonight

And what do you think, what do you do
(I will fall asleep here in your arms)
After the storm that we've been through?

I will come to your rescue, I will save this life tonight
(Every breath that you take breaks my heart)
I will fall asleep here in your arms

General Commentthis song is a beautiful love song, he knows the love wll eventually end, but he is enjoying it while he has it. "we both know this castles made of sand." And when he says he is falling asleep in her arms, it is about them dying together, because the ship (their love) is sinking. He wants to save "the life" that is their love and he is determined to make the love work.

General CommentIt's weird, this song brings nothing new to the table lyrically. In fact, if I hadn't heard the actual song while listening to the record, I'd be complaining on cliche it really is. However, the front man sings with such conviction, front even the opening lines, you can't help but be sucked into his pain. The way he goes from low to an almost falsetto ... dude is talented and he along makes the song remarkable.
