Where Juanita lays, I am kneeling to pray
In a cemetery on a Sunday Easter morning
Well he finally got out and he got her
He left her body where he found her
At a truck stop behind a diner after hours behind a counter

And Arkham Asylum has walls to keep us safe
Life just ain't designed to prevent every mistake
And every lock has its key and nobody ever really sleeps
Up in Rockingham Estates
Rockingham, Rockingham Estates
Rockingham, Rockingham Estates

Tree tops have all gone black from all the rushing of the bats
That scramble up in the leaves -- the night is dawning
And vengeance is gonna come for that Joker that done her wrong
And like a cat on a canary -- [you're Bruce Wayne]

And Arkham Asylum has walls to keep us safe
Life just ain't designed to prevent every mistake
And every lock has its key and nobody ever really sleeps
Up in Rockingham Estates
Rockingham, Rockingham Estates
Rockingham, Rockingham Estates
Up in Rockingham Estates
Rockingham, Rockingham Estates
Rockingham, Rockingham Estates

General CommentSong about Batman. I recently saw on Spin magazine a write up about Ryan Adams and he said he was really into Batman, and even if he wasn't really into comic books, he would still Batman's story because it's a good source of inspiration.
