"Brandenburg" as written by and Zach Condon....
Send me now, the winter's over
A light turns out, the winds are colder
The love we've had will turn all over
Going south and we are older

On the one tightrope you walked down
On a night like this you all turn around
No but I, I won't hold you anymore
No and I, I can't have you anymore

And some days we're all alone
On the banks of the rhine
And some days all we had
The salt in the sea
?
And some days we're all alone
On the banks of the rhine

General Commenti think the second questionmark set is "on the one tightrope you waltz now" and the fifth starts off with "the salt and sea brings us there" but i can't make out any of the rest.

General CommentI think it's "on a night like this you walked around" and "the salt and sea brings us there and shows us how to survive". I'd like to hear that, at least.

General Commentthanks, these lyrics have been really helpful.
i think the second line should be "a light turns out as we grow colder", though.

General Comment"some days all we had was our parents wine
the salt of the sea brings us near, shows us whats divine."
this is based on his black session live recording in paris.

    General CommentThe song goes

"send me now, the winter's over
a light turns out, the winds are colder
the love we've had will turn all over
going south and we are older

on the one time I told you also
on a night like this you all turn around
no but i, i won't hold you anymore
no and i, i can't have you anymore, my dear

and some days we're all alone
on the banks of the rhine
and some days all we have was worth while
and some sing dreams of spears chosen once in life
and some days we're all alone
on the banks of the rhine"

    Hope that makes some sense.

General Commentthis is the right line for the second one
"on the one tightrope you waltz now"

the other one suggested doesn't even sound accurate.

General CommentI don't understand how I am one of the few people who is absolutely in love with this song. It's in my opinion Zach's best. You can picture a story when you hear this song, and it's just so amazing.
