Can you feel it, see it, hear it today?
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway,
You will never understand it 'cause it happens too fast,
And it feels so good, it's like walking on glass,

It's so cool, it's so hip, it's alright,
It's so groovy, it's outta sight,
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet,
But it makes no difference 'cause it knocks you off your feet,

You want it all but you can't have it,

It's cryin', bleedin', lying on the floor,
So you lay down on it and you do it some more,
You've got to share it, so you dare it,
Then you bare it and you tear it,

You want it all but you can't have it,
Ya, ya, ya,
It's in your face but you can't grab it,
Ya, ya, ya,

It's alive, afraid, a lie, a sin,
It's magic, it's tragic, it's a loss, it's a win,
It's dark, it's moist, it's a bitter pain,
It's sad it happened and it's a shame,

You want it all but you can't have it,
Ya, ya, ya
It's in your face but you can't grab it,

What is it?
It's it!
What is it?
It's it!
What is it?
It's it!
What is it?!

What is it?
It's it!
What is it?
It's it!
What is it?
It's it!
What is it?!

You want it all but you can't have it,
It's in your face but you can't grab it,

It's it!
What is it? [x 16]

General CommentAnyone hating on FNM is a complete moron. Especially such a song as "Epic". It was great when FNM did it, and it was still good when Atreyu did it. Trying to rap? Think about this jackasses: When this song was written in the late 80s/early 90s, this was one of the first songs to successfully incorporate rapping with metal/rock, and even influenced many rappers to add metal/rock elements to their songs. Ironically, this song isn't about anything particularly.. "It" is just "it". "It" is whatever you want it to be. Genius song, and ironically named "Epic", seeing as big of a "one-hit-wonder" this was for FNM. Get out of here scene kids trying to diss good music.

General Commentum... I really don't even like this song... yet I can't get enough of listening to it.. I hate Faith No More... they annoy the shit out of me... but on the contrary, I believe that Atreyu did a pretty good job on this... even if Alex sounds a bit crappy in the beginning... just my opinion.

General CommentI like both version of the song. And "it" means whatever you want it to mean. But calling Atreyu a joke, thats what someone who doesn't understand music would say. Atreyu is one of the few band I have heard live in concert that sound as good as or even better then they sound on a edited sound track. How many other bands can you say sound as good live as they do on their CD? Not very many, i can personally tell you that. Also metal and a rap cross has produced some of my favorite music.
