Let's leave this urban territory.
Won't settle less
Our children could be so much better off sacrificed than lost
Just two hundred miles out east
Smothering the sun's evening glare
Dispersing the colors as I stare
The rays that will spread and spray
From out only in between in my hands
Only in between

Radiate radiate radiate not only for
Radiate radiate radiate not only for you
Not only for you

If I could be as strong as my father was with us then
There's no reason to doubt resentment is out,
Absolutely out of the question
Smothering the sun's evening glare
Dispersing the colors as I stare
The rays that will spread and spray
From out in between in my hands
Only in between

Radiate, radiate, radiate, not only for
Radiate, radiate, radiate, not only

This life we have chosen's eating you up from the inside
I'm not asking
I am begging
Why won't you realize?
Say it in your own way
I know you wish we had stayed
Say it in your own way
I know you wish we had stayed

Radiate, radiate, radiate, not only for
Radiate, radiate, radiate, not only for you

i love this song. hands down one of my favorites on the album. it's just so epic and the line: "The rays that will spread and spray From out in between my hands", makes me picture someone with their hands up to the sky and the sun shining through them. i can't listen to this song without it bringing a smile to my face :]

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
