Coach Z, Coach Z, one two one two
Coach Z, one two one two
Coach Z, Coach Z, one two one two
Coach Z, one two one two

These peoples
These peoples
These peoples try to fade
These peoples
These peoples
These peoples try to fade
These peoples
These peoples
These peoples try to fade

(Fade me!)

These peoples try to fade me!
(I can't handle it!)
C-c-c-call me on my cell phone!
(I get busy!)
These peoples try to fade me!
(I can't handle it!)
C-c-c-call me on my cell phone!
(I get busy!)

Coach Z's got money, but not much
Coach Z's got money, but not much
Coach Z's got money, but not much
I could use a dollar, I could use a couple bucks

I'm so oldschool (one two one two)
They tore the school down! (one two one two)
Where my lasers at?
Where my lasers at, y'all?
Where my lasers at? (Where my lasers at?)
Where my lasers at, y'all?

Where my lasers at?
All the peoples try to tell me where my lasers at
And your mother tried to show me all the laser crabs
And I got a bunch of types, a bunch of laser dabs

{makes laser gun noises}

These peoples try to fade me!
(I can't handle it!)
C-c-c-call me on my cell phone!
(I get busy!)
These peoples try to fade me!
(I can't handle it!)
C-c-c-call me on my cell phone!
(I get busy!)

I got to see the sweet doctor! (I'm Dr. Sweet!)
I got to see the sweet doctor! (I'm Dr. Sweet!)
I got the grown-up beats! (I'm Dr. Sweet!)
I got the grown-up beats! (I'm Doctor-doctor-doctor Beats!)

Will flow and/or freak for food (from the music video)These peoples
These peoples
These peoples try to fade
These peoples
These peoples
These peoples try to fade
These peoples
These peoples
These peoples drop the BAAEERRRMM!

I can flow (one two one two)
I can freak (one two one two)
Uhh... I can freak and flow at the same time

General CommentClearly the song highlights the pain of being on the "fringe" of society, if you will. It also details the struggle of the lower class - clearly when he says "Coach Z's got money, but not much" - and his battle to create a financially safe life for himself. Meanwhile, villians - "these peoples" - are mistreating him, or "fading" him.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of this song is the reference to "The Gay Science" by Nietzsche, when Coach Z launches into an inspired verse about the benefits and long-lasting effect of "lasers."
