"Adrenaline" as written by Glen Ballard and Gavin Rossdale....
My heart is beating faster
Can't control these feelings anymore
I've waited long enough
I want it more than anyone
It's time to step up and deliver what you wanna see
My blood is pumping, now this is how it's gonna be

It's 45 minutes of love
I wanna see you push and you shove
I'll show you just how far to go
It's time to lose all our control

So feel it
And I can't control these feelings anymore
Believe it
My heart is racing and I can't seem to get enough
Am I dreaming?
Feels like a drug but I know it's adrenaline
Go
Just feel it
Oh my heart is beating faster

My adrenaline reached its limit
I can feel it taking over me
My head is spinning
And it seems like I can hardly breathe
You get a taste
It's like a drug that you don't wanna leave
So if you want it let me see you put your fist in the air

It's 45 minutes of love
I wanna see you push and you shove
I'll show you just how far to go
It's time to lose all our control

So feel it
And I can't control these feelings anymore
Believe it
My heart is racing and I can't seem to get enough
Am I dreaming?
Feels like a drug but I know it's adrenaline
Go
Just feel it
Oh my heart is beating faster

My heart is beating faster
Can't control these feelings anymore
I've waited long enough
I want it more than anyone
It's time to step up and deliver what you wanna see
My blood is pumping, now this is how it's gonna be

So feel it
And I can't control these feelings anymore
Believe it
My heart is racing and I can't seem to get enough
Am I dreaming?
Feels like a drug but I know it's adrenaline
Go
Just feel it
Oh my heart is beating faster

It's 45 minutes of love

My heart is beating faster

My heart is beating faster

General CommentTo me, it seems like this guy's been lusting after this girl (or vice versa) for a while and now its come to the climax...i.e. sex lol. It seems like this a song all about sex...long awaited sex.

General CommentIt's obviously in regards to how Paul and the band feel right before, and during their shows on stage.
Their average set runs for 40-45 minutes, and this song would be one of the "get the crowd going" songs

General CommentLightningStorm is correct, they are Christians but they decided they do not want to be called a Christian band. Also, i really like these guys and they have some great lyrics, and I have been trying to figure out what else this song could be about other than sex. And the concert theory and being on fire for God is a good one. But also, i think that people tend to believe that, because they don't want to believe that the band wrote a sketchy song. Just because one or two albums had good lyrics with lots of good bible references doesn't mean they aren't capable of writing a sketchy song. The Detroit Red Wings used this song for their intro when the team came on the ice. Maybe by making a song outside the Christian box has benefits like that. I'm not saying its right though. Also, there have been other bands that have fallen from the Christian label or jumped back and forth between CD's. P.O.D being one example. So i think it is likely that this song is about sex even though I hope it isn't

Considering they're a huge christian band

    I agree with nightstorm

    General CommentNot a Christian band?

    From Wikipedia:
"The name of the band is a reference to their Christian values. As stated on their official website, "12 Stones" is taken metaphorically from the twelve stones in the Hoshen, a breastplate worn by the high priest of Levitical order in the Old Testament. In an interview on the national television special Broken TV, McCoy explained that the band's name reflects a reference to the twelve stones that the Israelites erected after they crossed the Jordan River. McCoy also stated in an interview with Christian Music Review that their name is also a reference to the twelve apostles that followed Jesus."

    An interview (as you suggested):
"12 Stones is recognized for the strong Christian element that they include in their music, a component that McCoy traces back to his southern roots. “I grew up in a southern Baptist church,” he says. “For me, a lot of it was just a part of my upbringing, part of who I was, and who I am still.”

For those of the Christian faith, 12 Stones’ music is filled with hope and eternal optimism."

This one's too long to post, but more evidence:

Nice try, but they ARE a Christian band.
