I once thought that the world was round
and only dead things go in the ground.
I thought the perfect story
had the perfect ending
and broken hearts
grew back from the mending.

I once read that the British had won the war
and that ceilings are just reflections of the floor.
and i knew that it really didn't matter.

I swear i had no idea this life would shatter.

And all the feelings come to one
and life begins to come undone.
Watching all the people come and go.

But what would i know
im just a Psycho
But what would i know
Im just a Psycho

Vivid colors start to appear
as my problems are thrown off the pier.
and I am lying with you on a trampoline.
And im recalling the days when i was 16.

These pills are working now
and i begin to see
how gracefully my hand grips the ignition key.

No one told me that this would be the end.

I swear i had no idea you weren’t my friend.

But what would i know
im just a Psycho
But what would i know
Im just a Psycho

I once thought that the world was round
and only dead things go in the ground.

General CommentThe lyrics of this song are a jumble of memories from my life in my mid teens. They were provoked into a song when an old girlfriend's mother accused me of being "Psycho" one night, out of anger. so in more ways then one, the song is my way of confronting that. This is perhaps one of the darkest FNF tunes.
