You're sailing far away.
Where do you have to go?
You're finding that its worth
every mile you have to row
to see whatever you are looking for.

I'd like to regulate
every wave that you create.
If you throw me overboard
I will travel in your wake
to see whatever you are looking for.

Storms will arise and blow me away.
But, you're lovely eyes are like beacons anyway.

So, I'll sit here in the sand
waiting for your little hands
to find my sallow face,
when you finally understand
and see whatever you are looking for.

You'll see whatever you are looking for.

General CommentA bittersweet love story about someone letting their significant other do what they need to do before continuing their relationship. They'll even put their controlling nature aside, and let the other walk all over them; and then they'll wait. This is true love in it's hardest form.
