"Laydown" as written by Eduardo Pacheco Salinas, Luis Fernando N Arce, Andres Velasco ...
Everybody's calling your name
Go away
When you're billing celebrations
No one better get in your way
You're making up the cuts
Breaking up the charts
Changing all the locks
It's a moment too late Grazing with the smugs
Changing your remarks
Training all your pawns
It's a moment too late

Everybody's sweating your name
You're the fave
And it feels so high
Breathing through your eyes
Don't you realize?

Making up the cuts
Breaking up the charts
Changing all the locks
It's a moment too late

Playing up your cause
Changing your remarks
Training all your pawns
It's a moment too late

Laydown so easy
Face down another season
Nightly tickets
Built for sound
Waving

Everybody's calling your name
It's like fame
And it feels so high
Peering through your eyes

You're making up the cuts
Breaking up the charts
Changing all the locks
It's a moment too late

Grazing with the smugs
Engaging all the mugs
Blazing up the blogs
It's a moment too late

Laydown so easy
Face down another season
Nightly tickets
Built for sound
Waving

General CommentI'm not surprised no one has commented on this song. I'm also not surprised this is the only Chikita song posted now. *Shrugs* I guess they're pretty underground?
Well, I originally listened to this band in the hopes that their lyrics were in Spanish. They're not, but I did fall in love with them. This is my favorite song by them.
