This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
I walk with the crowd, alone,
Unseen, or am I imagining?
it's easy keep hiding at home
Still healing
I teach myself how to stay calm
When they wish to behold me
They may, take and divide my time
The secret, no one told me...
Like creatures of the night, they follow...
Bearing the wrong side
Is hard for me sometimes
This need I still can recognize
To swim in the oceans of vanity
Some of us enjoy the rain
Choir: and thunder
For me all the shadows are bright
I'm burning in the starlight and I
Hope to feel light as a kite
And fly towards the twilight of my life
Like creatures of the night, they follow...
Bearing the wrong side
Is hard for me sometimes
And now they
have disappointed my broken heart
I'm dancing, they're demanding
The unknown and innocent days are gone
Taken without asking
Safe, further away,
I'll disappear like a mountain without a trace
They tied a knot on my life
It gets tighter when I try to hide.
"They live like the vultures, for a filthy anecdote
They go thru my bones to find just one odd note
I welcomed them kindly, thus they have the right
To leave me in darkness with my shattered heart"
A face of a newly wedded clown
Doesn't offer you the high
Now you're lower than the poor souls you feed
Built the walls out of silence
I will not be taken there anymore
What is wrong with your eyes?
Sad for the right reasons?
I'll show you the ashes of life
No empathy behind your eyes
Sleeping like an angel every night
I don't feel Safe,
Can't disappear without getting my last embrace
They tied a knot on my life
It gets tighter when I try to hide.
Safe, further away,
Can't disappear without getting my last embrace
Once the time finally comes
Will they dig me up from my unmarked grave?
Unseen, or am I imagining?
it's easy keep hiding at home
Still healing
I teach myself how to stay calm
When they wish to behold me
They may, take and divide my time
The secret, no one told me...
Like creatures of the night, they follow...
Bearing the wrong side

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
One of the best songs of Unia and nobody comment on it? This one is (I think) simple. I think its a protrait of Tony himself!. Think, he talks about peope who enjoys the rain (and thunder) He then speaks of his wishes (Fly towards the twilight of my mind) Then he speaks of many of his fans that download the music
"And now they have disappointed my broken heart I'm dancing, they're demanding The unknown and innocent days are gone Taken without asking"
And the ones that download the music dont feel any kind of guilt or hate against tony..
"No empathy behind your eyes Sleeping like an angel every night"
finally he express the disavantage of being a known person. You cant dissappear! Every place you go there'll be fingers pointing at you if you are famous!
This is my theory... I think its right
I agree that he's sick of being famous..."I'm burning in the starlight"...and wishes he could live the rest of his life happily and light, without the weight of all his stress. But he's been disappointed, because he's forced to perform for us, the days when it was just good fun have been stolen away. He'd feel safe if he could go away but he could never go unnoticed, like if a mountain suddenly disappeared. <br /> <br /> He feels that nobody cares, we sleep so easily every night while he is tormented by these thoughts. He can't be by himself until he has attended to everybody else. When finally he has died, trying to rest in peace with an unmarked grave in hopes that no one will find him, will he be disturbed even then?
I think I read in an interveiw that they write to make them happy, and they write about actual things, not fantasies. They also said they write about death of a freind or loved one. SO I think this is about a guy and his lover was murdered, and this makes him popular in this area, because they all talk about it. at the end of the song would be were he meats the killer, depitedd from the lines:<br /> "Built the walls out of silence<br /> I will not be taken there anymore.<br /> What is wrong with your eyes?<br /> Sad for the right reasons?<br /> I'll show you the ashes of life<br /> <br /> No empathy behind your eyes<br /> Sleeping like an angel every night"<br /> <br /> First stanza is him running away (I will not be taken there anymore) Then he meets the murder, and asks him the questions. Then he finds out he's not sad or anything because it says "No empathy behind your eyes<br /> Sleeping like an angel every night"<br /> <br /> Also, In the same interveiw I read, it says he lets people come up with the meanings, because they explain the better than him. so basically, they're both right.
