As the flower blooming proudly

X, Luna Sea and Kuroyume - that's the way that my seniors left me
We have to save our future and
Break the irony without rooting it out.
Well I'm serious in my own way and
I'm singing being ready to loose everything
Don't hinder, get out of here
Just don't decide everything by our appearance (well, just don't make a fool of us)

But yeah, foundation cream, make-up and mascara - "if we take off the make-up you won't recognize us"
That's why everything starts with good-looking but
It's awkward when your skill is poor...
For becoming "big artist" that my fans can be proud of, to tell my history forthrightly,
Hey ya buddy u got ready? Make the mainstream better, Speed up the victory road!

Doesn't matter what kind of music do you play and how you look like
Take off that shit and break the common knowledge,
Light the leading way!
Hurry hurry but don't worry. you are allowed to make mistake like that
Only who does smth can become a winner, just do it
Like a weed,
and even if for many times...

You are trampled, or plucked,
You can blossom again, just keep on believing in it.
Even if it isn't raining or there is no sun
Look calm, like you don't care.
If you lost your way, just ask smb
If you lost your dream, just close your eyes again
And some day you will blossom, with your hands wide spread

Kagoshima, areas, "saiba" and on air west
And I noticed that I couldn't understand where is my youth and when did the new year begin,
Keep on going West and East!
That's the highway on which I drove with all my dreams and hope.
What has changed since that? And what remained?
If we can't go back, all we have to do is just make the new road, cause
On the long and winding road there is no time to look back

We are still on our life-road
Don't you think that you can just loose everything if you always make that deadlocks,
Nothing will change if you are just thinking everything over, so let's just begin fighting, buddy
Oh, well, you started dancing, keep on moving
Blossom your flower tonight, otherwise the new century will end

Even if you are trampled, or being plucked
You can blossom again, keep on believing in it
Even if it isn't raining or there is no sun
Look calm, like you don't care
If you lost your way, just ask smb
If you lost your dream, just close your eyes again
And some day you will blossom again, with your hands wide spread
to the sun...

General CommentX, Luna Sea and Kuroyume, the guidepost left by our elders  Break it so it doesn't wipe out  Irony
The future (dream) that we have to protect
Even here I am doing it earnestly  Singing with the readiness to lose everything
Don't hinder, Get out of here  Don't judge by our looks (or don't look down at us from your noses)2

But well, foundation, mascara on our cheeks "Because no one knows (who we are) if we take off our makeup"
Saying from first glance  That our skill is empty  Isn't that bad all the more
So that it'll be History  That fans can talk proudly  Of their favorite Big Artists
Hey ya buddy u got ready? Here we come Main stream We're gonna dash Victory road

Looks and genre don't matter  Wouldn't it be nice if you would just take those off
Break it down The seawall of common sense  Come on let's light it now, The fuse
Hurry hurry but, Don't worry  It's ok even if you fail  Like this
The winners are the ones who do stuff  Just do it  No matter how many times it takes  Like weeds

If you're trampled on  If you're pulled out  You should bloom proudly1
You should keep on believing  Even if it doesn't rain  Even if the sun doesn't shine on you
With a cool face  With a confused look  If you're lost you should ask someone
If you've lost sight of your dreams you should close your eyes again
And someday again it'll open up for you  Spread your arms wide

Rokumeikan, AREA and SAIBA & ON AIR WEST  If I look, where have my youth and New Years gone
Advance to the west and the east  The Highway where I ride my dreams and desires in the van
I wonder what has changed since then  Or what was left unchanged
Since I can't go back to that time I have only to create it once again I suppose?
On the long and winding road  There's no time to look back Bro.

We are still On the way in our lives  So then it's useless to just create walls
And no point in thinking over this and that  Let's go on like where we go is just a game  Buddy
Hey hey? Why'd you suddenly start dancing  keep on moving.
Open that flower  Now in the middle of the night  The new century is gonna end bloomin'

If you're trampled on  If you're pulled out  You should bloom proudly
You should keep on believing  Even if it doesn't rain  Even if the sun doesn't shine on you
With a cool face  With a confused look  If you're lost you should ask someone
If you've lost sight of your dreams you should close your eyes again
And someday again it'll open up for you  Spread your arms wide
Towards the light of the sun

My OpinionX Japan, Luna Sea and Kuroyume were three of the many great bands from the "first generation" of Jrock. X Japan is acreditted with popularising VK massively. All 3 bands are VK.

In this song MYV is addressing the social stigma surrounding VK. (with metaphors like walls representative of prejudice)

the prejudice itself is something like...
well we all know that VK artistes use these extreme, shocking images to amplify the messages their music is trying to convey (so you get both aural and visual impact)
but many people are repelled by VK at first impression...which is understandable (nobody likes being shifted out of their comfort zones, so when something different - like a man in a prettypretty dress - comes along, they will feel that their comfort zone is under threat of being changed) but because they (subconciously) fear this "change" may somehow threaten their survival, they choose to come together as a group - to form a "majority" to condemn this "minority"(in this case, VK) in attempt to curb the impact of the influence of VK on their lives. the same goes for goth, punk, racism...any form of prejudice.
miyavi's message is that you are simply judging us based on our looks - you are superficial - because you do not bother to look deeper into us, otherwise, we could show you how awesome we can be.

its actually kinda ironic because...those that discriminate against VK won't give a shit about this song. (which is sad)
on another hand, it's kind of like, "i am poking you and you don't even know it haha~"

but at the same time MYV kind of, gives hope i guess, reminding, emphasising, that of "the future (dream) that we have to protect"...i think that's the part where he talks about blooming proudly, kind of like a message to all those who were ever hurt by the prejudice to not let these...poor people get you down, you must hold your head up.

if you link this up to Hi No Hikari Sae Todokanai Kono Basho de:

    "Then, I'll change it all,
    these really useless and boring
    values and predudice.
No such thing as a meaningless,
    worthless or stupid dream,
    I'll show you.
    That's right.
    I'll change without changing.
    Isn't that out destiny?
I have no choice but to grab a hold of it."

i find it sad songs like this seem kind of...underrated...these are epic, they represent what he's trying to do - to bring the first step to world peace with music...

    MIYAVI IS MY FAVOURITE REVOLUTIONIST.
