"Bluer than Blue" as written by and Randy Goodrum....
Each and every time you go
Hits me like a train
It kicks me right to the curb
Each and every time you go
I flatline again
Can this be what I deserve
Each and every time you go
Every single time

I'm bleeding for you
I'm bleeding for you
I'm bluer than blue
Promise you'll come back to me
Every single time you leave

Each and every time you go
My world fades to black
A little voice inside me says
You're never coming back
Each and every time you go
I crawl into a hole
Where hungry fears and sorrows
Lie waiting down below
Each and every time you go
I pray this is the end
Cause I really don't believe
That I could take this pain again
But just a moment later
I'll be back down on my knees
Selling off my soul if it would bring you back to me
Each and every time you go
It hits me like a train

I'm bleeding for you
I'm bleeding for you
I'm bluer than blue
I'm dying for you
I'm dying for you
Promise you'll come back to me
Every single time you leave

General CommentAt first I thought it was about a girl....but after reading the lyrics again I think its about drugs. Like, he keeps trying to quit, or he runs out, etc and then he goes through withdrawal, so he wants it back.
