When bands are talking shit about the other bands in town
And just to get ahead they drag each other down
When venues only cater to promoters with a national act
They don't care for the local bands
There might be

No scene, no scene, no scene
No camaraderie
This might as well be battle of the bands
No scene, no scene, no scene
No common enemy
We might as well be playing in a talent show
I don't want to be no scene

You know there's a basement show where the kids can go
But you've got to be elite
They're making every standard impossible to meet
At 21 and over you get to play the club
Where the disenchanted go to show no love

General CommentCobra Skulls are too awesome for our time. We live in an age of superficialism, and it's sad that good bands like this have an almost impossible time getting promoted because we only care about the next musical fad. But keep it up guys, who gives a shit about the other 97% of this country? Who needs money and fame anyway when you know your music kicks so much ass? I'm sure eventually you'll make a big dent in the punk scene. Woops, I mean, I'm sure - nevermind, keep rocking Cobra Skulls!
