"Window Bird" as written by and Patrick Mcgee Torquil Campbell....
Stuck on the wall, the note that you left
I wait and stop for the moment
Your reckless heart, you know you got it
Into the past, I try to sort it

Sort it, sort it, sort it, sort it, sort it, sort it

Out of the fog, you're calling my name
I wanted to call for nothing
Your careless heart, you know you got it
Crawl into bed and try to forget

Forget, forget, forget, forget, forget, forget

And when we go down you lost the courage
When we go down, you're so ferocious
When we go down you lost the courage
When we go down, you're so ferocious

Blanket of cloud, the sky hovering
Winter is long and forgiving
You melt your doubt and fall into me
I find your mouth and try to hold it

Hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it

You bring your love, you know it's homeless
But we'll both rise, we're falling
The summer arrives, the garden's alive
With the mud and the mortar, we're gonna save it

Save it, save it, save it, save it, save it, save it, save it
Save it, save it, save it, save it, save it, save it, save it

When we go down, you lost the courage
When we go down, you're so ferocious
When we go down, you lost the courage
When we go down, you're so ferocious

When we go down, you lost the courage
When we go down, you're so ferocious
When we go down, you lost the courage
When we go down, you're so ferocious

General CommentI'm almost certain that the lyric is "When we go deaf".

Listen to it with headphones. You can hear the "f" sound.

General CommentI hear the 'f' sound Thief- is talking about. I think we might have to wait until it's released.

General CommentI'm kinda thinking that this song is about an abusive relationship. It explains the 'you're so ferocious' bit, at least. And every time, the guy claims that he's a changed man, he needs her, he loves her, etc. But when something goes wrong, he's ferocious again.

    Maybe?

General CommentTo expand on what lapair was saying, if it WAS about an abusive relationship, then the deaf part would make sense I think. "When we go deaf, you're so ferocious" - so it'd be sort of like, as soon as we go deaf to our common sense - whatever it is telling us that you won't change - then you're back to being ferocious again. You know?
