It pays to kill
Anyone who has information
In the park, we hide behind rocks
We urinate on rocks
Until the sun comes up
Encrypted in flesh
Concrete soaked in sweat
We lived in Lake Somerset
It was south of Dallas Highway
Just east of a drained lake
Orchids dissolve
Equations solved
Psychic landscape
To know there is a limit to what you can experience
These walls I know, I grew up here
(No satisfaction)

General CommentOkay, but I still haven't figured out the song! Another exaggerated metaphor for Bradford's teenage life? It seems that's what the album Cryptograms is all about. This is an incarnation of the wild, raucous part of that life.

General Commentthis song reminds me of david lynch's TV series "twin peaks" a little - the idea that the place where you grew up makes you who you are, and it can make you dangerous. i always believed this song was about being young and having these experiences, doing all these things you'll grow up to regret with all your friends in some creepy place in your hometown, and your life being shaped by those moments.
