"My Favourite Book" as written by and Amy Millan Evan Cranley....
I was always late, you never afraid
That we could be falling
All our friends would say that maybe we should wait
But they can't see what's coming

And to this day when everything breaks
You are the anchor that holds me

And that is why we'll always make it
How I know your face, all the ways you move
You come in, I can read you, you're my favourite book
All the things you say, the way you shift your eyes
I never knew there was someone to make me come alive

When the days are long and the thunder with the storm
Can always get me crying
Well you can make my bed, I'll fall into it
Shadowed but not lonely

'Cause I never knew home until I found your hands
And when I'm weathered, you come to me, you're my best friend

And that is why we'll always make it
How I know your face, all the ways you move
You come in, I can read you, you're my favourite book
All the things you say, the way you shift your eyes
I never knew, there was someone to make me come alive

And when we're making love
I give everything up for your touch

How I know your face, all the ways you move
You come in, I can read you, you're my favourite book
All the things you say, the way you shift your eyes
I never knew, there was someone to make me come alive

And when you go to work, all the day I wait
For you to come home, make it our time in our little place
Our little place, our little place
Our little place, our little place, our little place

General CommentI think this song is about getting married, or deciding to.

    "all our friends would say
    that maybe we should wait
but they can't see what's coming"

It's about how perfect they are for each other how they're always there for each other and stuff, basically a love song, but I think the first verse gives it more of a story/meaning.

General CommentThis songs definately addictive. It's very sweet. I get the vibe that its someone, whos in love, telling the story of how she wants to spend her life with her someone, and shes positive it'll work and that they're perfect for each other and so she's waiting for the day that'll come.

My InterpretationWhen you know your lover inside and out as if they were your favorite book.
And no matter how much life may push you about; when you are together you will always have your little place of solace.

    I'll always love you Angela.

General CommentI'm pretty sure it's "Shattered, but not lonely." I think the song is pretty straightforward, being about love and feeling secure and comfortable with someone who really knows you; there's not a lot to read into.
