"End of the world" as written by Ben Jorgensen, Peter James Decicco, Anthony Diionno and Nash Breen....
Tidal waves are gonna swallow your town alive,
Terrorists are gonna poison all our skies.
Bodies are gonna wash up on the beach,
Hell is gonna bring your parents to their knees.

You escape, I'll stay,
I'm so tired of running away.

I wanna stay at home for the end of the world,
Falling asleep when they're dropping the bomb.
This is all a dream,
That's what I'll be singing.

I wanna stay at home for the end of the world,
Falling asleep when they're dropping the bomb.
This is all a dream,
That's what I'll be singing.

Pack all your bags and lock all your doors behind,
Clear out the cities and pray for your little lives.
You've all escaped, I've stayed.

Everything around you is gonna turn into
The biggest pile of ashes
That you could ever imagine.

Everything around you is gonna turn into
The biggest pile of nothingness.
So keep on running, keep on running.

I wanna stay at home for the end of the world,
Falling asleep when they're dropping the bomb
This is all a dream,
That's what I'll be singing.

I wanna stay at home,
I wanna stay at home,
I wanna stay at home,
I wanna stay at home.

This is all a dream,
That's what I'll be singing.
This is all a dream,
That's what I'll be singing.

General CommentOk... I'm actually going to attempt to talk about what I think this song means,

In my perspective, the end of the world may not be the actual end of the world. To a person, it could be the death of a loved one, or even the end of a very intimate relationship. In some points, especially the chorus, those aspects are really clear to me. But then you hear the verses, it seems like they are reffering to the ACTUAL END OF THE WORLD.
Or even if they ARE talking about the ACTUAL END OF THE WORLD, they could just be refferring to terrorists not being controlled and thousands of people loosing their lives. And with the whole, 'I'm so tired of running away' line, could show that all this person's life, they've felt that they've done nothing to help anybody but themselves and now that everything is ending, they feel that now more than ever, they're truely helpless.
The orgin of this song is of which has perplexed me, because to me and my over thinking, I see a lot of different views and ideas all mooshed up into one. If anyone has any theories of what this song is actually about, they would be greatly appreciated.

I understand that a lot of what I've said is fictional but, that's just what I think...

General Commentsomeone's given up trying to live. no matter what happens to them, they'll just sit back and watch the world pull itself down around the ears. they just don't care anymore, and the line "i wanna stay home for the end of the world" somehow suggests that they have an almost childish indifference to calamity of any kind. they're gonna face everything head on by not caring.
