Left your t-shirt in my room, still smells of you
And the picture you hung on the door lay smashed
Picture perfect
Explains now, clearly nothing left but a memory
We only made out, you never kissed me
That's how I learned to hold back all feeling

Wait, please don't go
I won't stay
All these words on replay
I'm okay, It's alright
Good to know that your fine

Pretending everything is right
To make it better
I'll hide my make up smeared eyes
To show that I tried

Some how you have managed to get under my skin
More than anyone ever did
And if every hole makes a scar
And every scar marks its place
Then I will never live freely without your trace

And it'll never be fair
I wrote my songs for you and you never even cared
So I'll forget you, I'll wash your t-shirt
Kill the pillow and cut you out of pictures

Wait, please don't go
I won't stay
All these words on replay
I'm okay, It's alright
Good to know that your fine

Pretending everything is right
To make it better
I'll hide my make up smeared eyes

This drama sat shot gun
My eyes rained like autumn
Only the glove box knows
How the story goes

Now that this bandage is broken and the cuts left in open
I'll tell you just one thing, this wasn't worth the sting

Left your t-shirt in my room, still smells of you
And the picture you hung on the door lay smashed
Picture perfect

i think its about a girl who's trying to make the best of her life after a break up, but she cant really move on, and isnt over the guy, and shes trying to act strong by hiding her crying

i love this song. its beautiful. to me, this song is about a girl who is kinda in a relationship but the boy doesnt want to be serious and just wants to muck around. she holds back her feelings (which is killing her to do) because she knows its not worth it and she will just get hurt. just an opinion.

Ahh, i love Automatic Loveletter. Alright so basically,

This song is about a girl who REALLY fell for a guy, and even though she knew her feelings were much deeper for him than as for what he shared for her, or perhaps he just with her 'cause he had nothing better to do (We only made out, you never kissed me) So she had a feeling the entire time that he felt this way....maybe she was a rebound? Anyways, so she's trying to get over him, yet she still loves him and she's totally mixed up. She wants him back, (Please don't go i won't stay all these words are in replay) Shes a wreck, but tries to look strong by hiding her feelings, or "Make-up Smeared Eyes"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
