"Love With Caution" as written by Shane Told, Neil Boshart, Joshua Bradford, William Hamilton and Paul Koehler....
The rivers running fast right now
It's the time of year the water cleanses itself
Running wild but always in control
And nows the time to sever the tides
To habits that we can discuss by trying to sake

[Chorus:]
Drain away (Drain) despair (Drain) until it dissipates (Drain)
Yeah
I'm not ready to to swim, I'm not going to sink
I just want to float through the sea
Are you pulling me down, are you holding me up
Or are you slowly drowning me

There's something to be said for luck
It's better than being good
When half of me, good is being lucky anyways
Were spreading out (We're spreading out)
Were harder to hit (We're harder to hit)
Become a moving target
Drop your burden and abandon it

[Chorus]

Slowly drowning me
I remember the days
Where I could walk right down the streets
And feel so confident
And know every things OK
Take my hand don't let go
But please remember
Corns can grow
We still have to take it slow
I love with caution
And trust alone

I'm not ready to to swim, I'm not going to sink
I just want to float through the sea
Are you pulling me down, are you holding me up
Or are you slowly drowning me
I'm not ready to to swim, I'm not going to sink
I just want to float through the sea
Are you pulling me down, are you holding me up
Or are you slowly drowning me
Slowly drowning me

    General CommentI think it goes:

I'm not ready to swim. I'm not going to sink.
I just want to float through the sea.
    Are you pulling me down?
    Are you holding me up?
Or are you slowly drowning me?

General Commentthe chorus is wrong... its supposed to be

    Drain away this fear,
    Until it disappears.
I'm not ready to swim, I'm not going to sink.
I just want to float through the sea.
    Are you holding me down?
    Are you holding me up?

General Comment"i love with caution, and trust alone."

    -makes the whole song.
its just about taking it slow.
wanting something real, and meaningfull but taking it slow and being carefull with love,,
    to avoid being hurt.

General Commentlmfao, this isnt even close to punk or anything with punk in the title. I wouldnt say its "pop" but wtf happend to this band, yes shane broke up with his girlfriend i get that so there has to be alot of lyrics like these but they could have atleast put in some screaming or atleast some harder beats, im really not a fan of this cd, im quite disapointed.

General CommentI actually really like this song, lol.
and lavadude246 is definetly right with the lyrics.
"i just want you to fucking see"? wtf.
    no.
    haha.

I think he's trying to say he's not ready to fall in love and end up getting hurt, but he's not sure if someones trying to make him fall in love, or stopping him from falling in love. And he's careful with his feelings... trying not to get attached to someone so easily.
that's the best I could put it, haha.
