"Easier To Be" as written by and Jude Cole Jason Wade....
Chasing fireflies
Elusive dreams
This pre-life crisis, is killing me
Beautiful, tragedy of who I was
Was it me, yeah yeah

[Chorus:]
(Ooh ah) You make it easier to be
(Ooh ah) Easier to be me
(Ooh ah) It's hard to believe
(Ooh ah) You make it easy

We're speaking silence
Words can break
It feels like we are falling awake
In a place, in a time of our own, yeah yeah

[Chorus]

Fall from the world
Feel from my feet
Give up on myself
You didn't give up on me
Let myself go
You were still there
Like coming home
Coming up for air
Yeah yeah

[Chorus]

(Ooh ah) Easier to be
(Ooh ah) To be me
(Ooh ah) Oh
(Ooh ah)

General Commenti think this could be about God. people will always let you down but God will never give up on you. also: once you know God, you know who you are. you are branded by God and you know the meaning of life. i can also see the serious relationship interpretation. :)

General Comment"you make it easier to be me" explains it.
it's like when you have somebody in your life that means more than words can tell, whether it be a serious relationship, a friendship, or even a mentor ... and when you feel like the world gave up on you, they are the ones telling you to keep going. Despite all hardships you may encounter, they will always have your back and genuinely believe in you.

General CommentPersonally, I don't think this song is written about God. I think it is written for his wife Braedan. That make sense.
