"Save my life" as written by and Marco Heubaum Elisabeth Middelhauve....
My Soul feels empty
I'm drowning in my tears
It's pain I'm learning
My Heart is aching
Got poison in my veins
In hell I'm burning

Save my life
Save my life
Let these tears be our secret
My You and I
You and I
Once we were so close
Save my life

It's all or nothing
I'm asking you to give
Let live or die
Everything is better
Than this silent lie
Say that it's no lie!

Save my life
Save my life
Let these tears be our secret
You and I
You and I
Once we were so close
Save my life

I need you to save my life

Save my life
Save my life
Let these tears be our secret
You and I
You and I
Once we were so close
Save my life
Save my life
Let me feel you breathing
In your hands
In your hands
Is the heart of mine
Save my life

My InterpretationThis song talks about this person who is depressed or having hard times managing her life. She is literarly begging the person who was the most close to her or had some good memories to save her life by loving her."It is the heart of mine/Save my life" it is the "save me through your love"

My InterpretationThe way I read the lyrics is she was in love with someone and now for whatever reason they aren't together anymore or their relationship is falling apart.

    Save my life
    Save my life
Let these tears be our secret
    You and I
    You and I
    Once we were so close
    Save my life

She is so in love with this person that without them she is literally dying. Which is why she is saying "Save my life".

For some reason suicide does pop into my mind as well.
