"Sound Of The Sun" as written by Shane Told, Neil Boshart, Joshua Bradford, William Hamilton and Paul Koehler....
Your breath is scorched across my face
You can't bring me down
Your breath will never be the same

Go!

And I don't know what's wrong with me
I wanted to be all the things you need
All the things you need

And now I'm standing here alone
I'm waiting for it all to come and go
All to come and go

Maybe I just have to let it go

[Chorus:]
Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Bring it up, bring it up did you hear the sound of the sun
Rising from the ground
Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Bring it up, bring it up do you always wanna be the one
Running from yourself

You!

And nothing's ever as it seems
When all your dreams exist in memories
Exists in memories

And all the trouble takes it's toll
I don't remember all the common goals
All the common goals

Maybe you just have to let me know

[Chorus]

Your breath is scorched across my face
You can't bring me down
Your breath will never be the same

Go! Go! Go!

It's not you I'm afraid of
But I'm not scared of myself
You'll lie with or without me
You'll never need my help

Maybe I just have to let it go
I have to let it go

[Chorus]

General CommentSounds to me like a relationship's over, and for a long time not wanting to face that it's over. And suddenly he comes to realize it's just simply, plain .. over? Great song btw, saw them in the Netherlands a few weeks ago. Amazing guys, giving us permission to download the album since we can't buy it here!!

General CommentI absolutely love their new song, I believe the message is about a relationship gone sour and how he was trying to get it to work and he’s starting to realize that maybe its time to let go. I’m probably wrong, this is just MY opinion. Once again this is a great song... the whole new album is great!

General Commenti agree that it's about a breakup with a fake bitch, but i don't really understand what the "make it up, make it up" is supposed to mean?

General CommentThe lyrics here are wrong. From the CD booklet:

You've cast these scars across my face.
    You can't bring me down.
You think I'll never be the same

And I don't know what's wrong with me.
I wanted to be all the things you need, all the things you need.
And now I'm standing here alone
I'm waiting for it all to come and go, all to come and go.
Maybe I just have to let it go.

Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Break it up, break it up, can't you hear the sound of the sun rising from the ground?

Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Break it up, break it up, do you always want to be the one running from yourself?

And nothing's ever as it seems when all your dreams exist in memories, exist in memories.
And all the trauma takes its toll, I don't remember all our common goals, all our common goals
Maybe you just have to let me know.

Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Break it up, break it up, can't you hear the sound of the sun rising from the ground?

Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Break it up, break it up, do you always want to be the one running from yourself?

You've cast these scars across my face.
    You can't bring me down.
You think I'll never be the same.

It's not you I'm afraid of.
But I'm not scared of myself.
You'll lie with or without me.
    You'll never need my help.

Maybe I just have to let it go.
I have to let it go.

Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Break it up, break it up, can't you hear the sound of the sun rising from the ground?

Make it up, make it up when you're not around
Break it up, break it up, do you always want to be the one running from yourself?

General Commentisnt it all the trauma takes its toll, or all the drama takes it toll, not trouble, it just sounds like that

General CommentI think the make it up part is about when she is gone he tells his friends she loves him and he loves her though he is slowly seeing she really dont give a fuck about him.
