I measure my soliloquy.
In ounces and pounds and everything.
And as I wake from the nightmares it brings.
I find the measurements don't help.
Lullaby sweet lullaby.
I find comfort in your gentle eye.
But you betray me every night.
And I toss and turn in my sleep.
I would kill for a sleeping pill.
I would die to know why the night's so still.
And there's no way to escape.
Sing me a song and I'll fall asleep.
If you're speaking next to me.
(Please set me free sweet soliloquy)
