"Every Word Is A Knife In My Ear" as written by and Samuel Bingham Endicott....
Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear
Every thought in your head is like poison to hear

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear

Like a snake in a suit spitting into the air
With a tongue like a needle and we're shot full of fear
White picket teeth and a big red alert
The life of the party and we pulled up our skirt

It's like poison
It's like poison

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear
Every thought in your head is like poison to hear

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear

A fool is a devil and a devil's a fool
With a fork-tongue needle and you got us all fooled
A monkey doing tricks and we couldn't resist
If this isn't evil then I don't know what is

It's like poison
It's like poison

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear
Every thought in your head is like poison to hear

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear

It's like poison
It's like poison

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear
Every thought in your head is like poison to hear

Every word from your mouth is a knife in my ear

General CommentRory426 you are a complete idiot. This song is probably talking about an ex-girlfriend. This song has nothing to do with Bush you abortion supporting liberal democrat.

General CommentSorry Pantelones, you're the idiot. Sam has said several times that this is their "punk rock fuck the government" song.

General CommentAt first I thought it was a break-up song, when no matter what the person who's breaking up is saying is hurting the other- but being anti-Bush makes so much more sense! If possible I love them even more for it.

@ Trixie- "and we pulled up our skirt" = we got fucked?? That's how I see it.

General CommentPlease man, not another anti-Bush song, I can't take it.. Def. below Bravery's dignity. Not that I support Bush or something, but it's like it has turned into a fashion to make "fuck the government" complain songs. Just an easy way to get people to like/respect you, because 99 % of all the people listening to this will agree.
    Nice song, BAD lyrics.

General CommentJust because it is a fuck the govt song doesn't mean it has to mean that to you, it could easily mean something else if you wanted it to.
