It's just a lie.
I'm breaking words.
You never talk of these.
I'm sick of words.
Intaking what I like.
I climb the walls at night.

I never leave when I ought to leave.
That's such a lie.
I took my leave when I wanted these, my father's eyes.
Two took my name.
Then I play myself another time.

I never leave when I ought to leave. You know how much a lie can cover these.
With broken books and leaves.
I'll take my father's eyes.

Ch–Change. The change. The Chains.

General CommentThis song is probably my personal favorite by De Rosa. The melody is just incredibly catchy.

I'm not exactly sure the meaning of this. A lot of De Rosa's lyrics have a certain ambiguity about them.
