"11 Silver" as written by Zakk Wylde, Kevin Churko and Ozzy Osbourne....
Your words they go like no mare
They sale the world high headed, yeah
I can't believe I'm still here
I know I should be dead, yeah

This desperation makes me feel so filthy
But I know if I don't stop I won't feel guilty
Take me higher
Pray me faster
Help me get her
Who I'm after

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One time to keep me high all day
Makes my reality fade away

There is no future waiting
There is no morning ever
I can't stop the place is spinning

My anti drugs get trashed, yeah
This paranoia stops my mind from sinking
I don't know if I'm awake or if I'm dreaming

Take me in you, won't be nice
Spit me out or wait and shine me

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One time to keep me high all day
Makes my reality fade away

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One time to keep me high all day
Makes my reality fade away

General CommentWhoever wrote these lyrics on here must be fucking deaf. Correct lyrics below.

Your words, they go right through me
They circle round my head, yeah
    I can't believe I'm still here
I know I should be dead, yeah
This desperation makes me feel so filthy
    But I know if I don't stop I won't feel guilty

    Take me higher
    Crank me faster
Help me get the thrill I'm after

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One shot to keep me high all day
    Makes my reality fade away

    There is no future waiting
    There is no morning after
    Can't stop obsessive craving
An itch I just can't scratch, yeah
This paranoia stops my mind from sleeping
I don't know if I'm awake or if I'm dreaming

    Take me in
    You won't deny me
Spit me out, all bright and shiny

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One shot to keep me high all day
    Makes my reality fade away

    [SOLO]

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One shot to keep me high all day
    Makes my reality fade away

This song does sound alot like he's singing about an addiction, but I don't think its the type that you guys are thinking about. If you listen to the song with the correct lyrics that i posted above, it sounds more like the "thrill" he's after has more to do with the roar of the crowd than the rush of a narcotic. He's saying that after all of his ups and downs throughout his career, even he is surprised that he's still relevant in today's music scene (I can't believe I'm still here, I know I should be dead, yeah, This desperation makes me feel so filthy, But I know if I don't stop I won't feel guilty). The thrill he's so desperate for is being on stage performing for his fans, and he knows that if he never stops then he will never have a reason to be upset with himself.

One time to take away all pain
One more to turn myself insane
One shot to keep me high all day
    Makes my reality fade away

The chorus is him describing the ecstasy of performing in front of thousands, the roar of the crowd and how it keeps him going, and even how surreal it feels for him. If you are a true Ozzy fan, then take your time, listen to his songs, and think outside the box.

Not every rock song is about drugs.

Song MeaningI disagree. I am an Ozzy fan, have been for roughly 30 years. I am also an alcoholic and drug addict in Recovery. He's talking about the drugs, man. And the high, and then, the downer. If you were in recovery, it'd be obvious to you too. Although I do agree he gets almost the same thrill out of being on the stage, in the spotlight, nothing compares to the mind-altering fuck that addiction brings. The good and the bad.
The line "I know if I don't stop I won't feel guilty" refers to the feeling we get coming down off of a relapse, or rather, the need to stay high so we don't come down and feel that.
