"Tonight, Tonight (Smashing Pumpkins cover)" as written by Spencer James Smith and Brendon Boyd Urie....
If I retreat, words, wars and symphonies
Make room we're taking over here
And so the galantine, cold and alone, it suits you well
Will finally perch him here again

May your feet serve you well
And the rest be sent to hell
Where they always have belonged
Cold hearts and colder songs
They will play us out with a song of pure romance
Stomp your feet and clap your hands

Let's kill tonight, kill tonight
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight, kill tonight
Show them all you're not the ordinary type
Let's kill tonight

Before they you well
They rest is sent to hell
Where they'll always have it wrong
Cold hearts and colder songs
They will play us out with a song of pure romance
Stomp your feet and clap your hands

Let's kill tonight, kill tonight,
Show them all you're not the ordinary type,
Let's kill tonight, kill tonight,
Show them all you're not the ordinary type,
Let's kill tonight, kill tonight,
Show them all you're not the ordinary type,
Let's kill tonight, kill tonight,
Show them all you're not the ordinary type,
Let's kill tonight

General Commentokay.I've never heard their version of this song.
But I'm sure they butchered it.
I have both of P!ATD's cd's,and their a good band.
But Smashing Pumpkins is the greatest band ever and no one could come close to this, one of the most beautiful songs ever made.
Leave Smashing Pumpkins to the Smashing Pumpkins!

General CommentThis song has always held a special meaning to me... Panic! really did do an amazing job with it. Billy Corgan said himself that he liked the cover version of the song. I love how Brendon's voice brings that little something extra to it... it just makes the song all the more important to me.

what a lame cover of the smashing pumpkins!
i saw the live version and it sounds like urie was gargling something. wtf!? lol. and the worst part was that the following song sounded just like the regular recording. crappy cover for sure..

    the cover is great
& they played it so good live with all the instruments
i heard one version where brendon's voice is a little weird but there's another one that is really cool

General CommentI love this cover, I heard this (on their myspace) before I heard the original version by SP! It's not their best performance and Brendon can occasionally sound like he has his balls in a vice but the song is just great.
