"Vacation/ Add/ Vacation!" as written by and Nadler Tyson....
can you feel it crawl
something has mastered our insides
connecting our thoughts
with others' body parts
in all sorts
there are networks keeping watch
over our state of mind

this is how we'll carry on

have we been led
have we wandered
in everything we're moving on to
i think we made a great escape
it's been said
you've inspired
in all those things i'm looking on to
your greatest day

we prefer to pretend
there's no animal inside
but there is a sting
we chose to hide
who waits for who?
when nothing tells us we might still be alive

we send transmission to bridge the synapse
we're put together and organised

General CommentI think this song is a combination of a few things, the first part seems like a criticism of the media, saying that the media has mastered out thoughts and control our perception of reality. The chorus looks to me like a question of religious influence. the third verse is questioning the larger picture and how all these things tie into our instinctual behaviors. The bridge before the last chorus seems to like an attempt to criticize religion, "we want to believe that were intelligently designed. Which seems different because Hopesfall is a very christian influenced band.
