Alicia we've been through a lot
But for you love is all I’ve got
I thank you for the many things you taught me,
Showed me everything
I hope that maybe someday you get marriage,
Hardcore shows, and babies
Someday soon I’m sure that your body will finally stop hurting

And after both our hearts have healed
And everything is fine
Then we'll be back to how we used to be
The best of friends, I guarantee
But I don't know just how to cope
I've never been through this before
I'll wait and wait and wait
And see just what the future holds for me

This was just a bottle rocket romance
Gorgeously it peaked then instantly it vanished
Grateful I am to have shared this spark with you

I'm taking baby steps as fast as I can
But one look at you and then I’m back to where I began
I never thought that this would be nearly as hard,
But then again I never felt a love as genuine as ours

I’ll wake up tomorrow completely alone
But what I'll do and who I’ll meet
Have answers that are unknown
I’ll make the most out of life
Like this was a class
And our assignment was to love each other
Both of us passed

This was just a bottle rocket romance
Gorgeously it peaked
Then instantly it vanished
Grateful I am to have shared this spark with you

Winter nights
Soon will be summer skate sessions
Everyone will be out having fun
You and me,
We’ll start a posi hardcore band
Bring the mosh to all of those in need

This was just a bottle rocket romance
Gorgeously it peaked then instantly it vanished
This was just a bottle rocket romance
Gorgeously it peaked then instantly it vanished
Grateful I am to have shared this spark with you

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
