there's a reason
why I have a picture of Mick Jagger above my bed

it's there to remind me
that the people all buy resistant shoes
so I think these people hate the blues

run sisters, join me
if you hate me there's no problem
in fact that's all I asked for
when you joined our little gang

'cause there's a thousand things I'd do
rather than spend any time with you
'cause there's a thousand things I'd do
rather than spend any time with you

People who hate people, come together [x6]

kicks, I get
when I listen to Bill Hicks
chicks, I get
if I stop my baby, I won't

'cause there's a thousand things I'd do
rather than spend any time with you
'cause there's a thousand things I'd do
rather than spend any time with you

People who hate people, come together [x4]

General CommentOK, I think there are a few problems with these lyrics, which is understandable cause the recording is so crap. It sounds a bit like Mick Jagger, but I suspect it's not, and I find the line about "resistant shoes" hard to swallow.

And I'm pretty sure that it's "Brothers, sisters, join me"
