"Slow Down" as written by and Logan Christian/burton Laflotte....
I learned to breathe underwater,
when I turned nine.
I had to learn how to save myself.
I'm still alive.

How does it feel to be 20? Or 25?
Well I can hardly remember, I just survive.

So when we met I was startled, I finally awoke.
Blew out a breath full of water now that I'm not alone.
I got a taste of the surface; I can't let it go.
I used to sink but now I float.

Slow down, stop rushing this.
It feels like nothing else matters now.
Love and lust can co-exist, so let's take our time.

You said, "The days are getting shorter." And you were right.
'Cause all the stars were appearing, they multiplied.

And so the more surrendered, the farther we fell.
It was either you or the moment, or both that I held?
As we descended on each other it got harder to tell,
and now I can’t control myself.

Hearts that race and breath that stains.
Covers ours to wear.
So when we wake up underwater, I'll be there.

General CommentI can't believe no one has commented on this song...it's by far my most favorite song by Paulson.

I feel that it's about meeting someone new who awakens you, and just taking it slow and enjoying the relationship that you form.

    General CommentLove this song too.
It's amazing how much they've changed over the past few years, since they let out the Variations EP and I saw them perform in a small ass church.

General Commentthis is deffinitely one of my favorites.
its remembering times when you were younger and young loves or new relationships. and those butterflies you get when you're around that person. Worrying about not rushing things but also not wanting to stop those feelings either.....and eventually giving into it all.
    so good.

    General CommentI love this song.
I think its about being stuck in a bad time in your life when suddenly you meet someone who makes everything worthwhile and you just don't want to rush anything so as to not ruin anything.

General CommentThis is such an amazinnnng song. The whole simple jingle behind it is perfect for the light-hearted racy mood it's trying to emulate. Because it's definitely about living life and not trying to hurry to growing up.He compares it to a love relationship, where even though it feels great and the sex is probably amazing, he wants to 'slow down.' you know, takes things a little slower and just enjoy the relationship. He's just been swimming through life without really paying much attention and not caring about memories but just getting to the end, and now he realizes that he needs to cherish it.

General CommentThis is definitely my favorite Paulson song, and probably one of my favorite songs ever. First of all, the music behind it is awesome, it gives you such a good feeling before even listening to the lyrics. The lyrics, too, are so good and the whole point of the song is so uplifting. Its about someone who makes life worth living, and it's just an awesome song. Paulson is amazing anyway.
