"Tissue Shoulders" as written by Shepherd Rupert Alexander J. Jarvis, Robert Dylan Thomas, Orlando Thomas Penhale Weeks, Felix White and Hugo White....
Never cry on your own, never cry
But when you cry
Just try and find some perfect stranger with the tissue shoulders on

'Cos I know the score and it's hard when it's her your crying for

Never go on your own, never go
But when you go
Just try to find someone or other with the GPS turned on

'Cos I've been here before and it's hard when it's her your crying for

So take her and lay her in the ground
I'll be here waiting so patiently not making a song

Don't want to lie alone

I'll find another with a shoestring love heart thong

General Commenti cant believe nobody has commented this yet.
its a song from the loving best friend willing someone to be strong, but if you are too weak they will be there for you because they know what you are going through. dont beat yourself up, try to forget about that person and im here to help you move on.

General CommentI could've sworn it was "I'll find another with the shoestring love hearts on"...

Anyway, I really love this song. I like the way he says "Never cry. But when you cry..." kind of like he's telling the person not to do these things, because it will hurt, but he knows he will anyway.

I think it's basically about friendship, and about having someone to lean on; someone with "the GPS turned on" or "tissue shoulders on". It's about having someone who knows the way and can take some of the burden off you when something bad happens.

Well, it's like that up until the last bit where he says he "doesn't want to lie alone" and that he'll find someone else with "shoestring love hearts on" or a "shoestring love heart thong" depending on how you hear it I guess.

Not really sure how the two parts tie together, unless he's singing to a friend that has been scorned by the same woman he has. I think that might fit with the whole "I've been here before and it's hard when it's her you're crying for" part. It also might explain why he tells the guy to find a "perfect stranger" for comfort not him. Perhaps their relationship it strained because they dated the same woman and now he can't be a friend to him in that way, but he still doesn't want to see the guy upset.

I don't know, I'm probably over thinking it. Ah well, great song though.
