"Bullets" as written by and Simon Walker Bruce Gainsford....
I need to know I broke your heart.
The truth is that it's about me
Hurting just to find a line,
This is giving me trouble

I'd like to know I left a scar.
I'm wondering do you feel free?
Do you still kiss like you kissed me?
Are you still keeping my secrets?

I'm pretty good at honesty,
This is causing me trouble.

You lit me up and hit me like bullets
Pieces of you are left in me.
The craziest thing is that I love it,
The holes in me, the holes in me.

This is not an apology,
Not sentiment, not surgery.
People falling out of time,
Just tripping and stutters.

You're beautiful, it's not your fault,
and it's causing me trouble.

You lit me up and hit me like bullets
Pieces of you are left in me.
The craziest thing is that I love it,
The holes in me, the holes in me

General CommentThis song is pretyt much self-explanatory--beautifully written, beautifully carried out. I'm so used to hearing Vega4 in higher songs like "Life is Beautiful" and "Traffic Jam" that the deep voice in the beginning of this song caught me off guard--in a very good way. It is my favorite Vega4 song, though "You" is a very close second.

General Commentthis song is so amazing. it was exactly what my breakup with my boyfriend was like. he hurt me so much, and acted like an ass but it was all because he was naive. i wanted to know that he had felt the same pain. it's really get to the point of what a break up feels like when the other person moves on and you are left a wreck because of them, and they don't even realize that they've done anything to you.

General CommentThis is my favorite song by Vega4! cherryblossom11 is exactly right about this song wishing the one who hurt you felt the same pain, but that's almost never the case. A heart never breaks even, right? The imagery I get when I listen to this song is amazing. You can hear the emotion in his voice when he sings, "You lit me up and hit me like bullets."

I can completely relate to this song and how sick and twisted it feels to love the pieces of your ex left in you even though they want nothing to do with you. It's like when you loved someone so insanely much that even though they ripped out your heart, the good memories of them still make you happy and the experiences you had together have made you a completely different person.

While you still love the past, you have a sort of hatred for what they've done to you and you wish that you'd left the same scar that they did on you. One line I can really relate to is, "I'm pretty good at honesty. This is causing me trouble." Not everyone appreciates honesty and even though you're completely honest with this person doesn't mean they'll reciprocate or even care that you always told them the truth. It causes trouble and will almost always end badly, but for the better.
