"Underground Dream" as written by and Jay Farrar....
Had a thought that consumed a good for bad
I can reckon I can never beat the wheel
There's a white tap stealing a nightmare
Shadows laughing and making deals

Let your hair hang down for this moment
And they try to make it disappear
If you take away this underground dream

Guns are education
The answer's larger than the Hollywood sign
If your souls can see the writing
On the burning wall of eternity
The bastion's a penitentiary
Reaction will pull broken hearts through

We can't take away this underground dream
We can't take away this underground dream
We can't take away this underground dream
We can't take away this underground dream

General CommentMabye this has to do with for a certain period of time being free and not worrying about someone (the gov'nt) getting in the way or watching your every move. Living an undeground dream and being content with someone or something in your life.
